Honduran pineapple exports increased by 20%

According to the Central Bank of Honduras (BCH), pineapple exports increased by 20% and amounted to more than 32 million dollars.

That is six million dollars or 20% more than in the previous year. In 2017, the country exported 59 thousand metric tons of pineapple, they stated.

Up until November 2018 the country had exported 64 thousand tons of pineapples, a significant difference over the previous year, and there's still one month of data missing, they added.
