Meijer, a chain of grocery stores that is based on Grand Rapids, Michigan, is recalling Meijer brand Ultimate Chocolate Mint Chip Cookies because the cookies contain soy, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to soy could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No reactions have been reported to date, to the company or the FDA.
