Researchers from the Tecnolgico de Monterrey, in Mexico, have found that avocado stone could help reduce the risk of suffering cardiovascular diseases or cancer related to the consumption of preservatives.
The group, led by researcher Carmen Hernndez Brenes, found molecules called acetogenins which can be used as medicines and food preservatives.
