America's cheese problem just hit record numbers

According to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. is still sitting on a massive surplus of cheese.

Even though Americans consumed nearly 37 pounds of cheese per capita in 2017, it still wasnt enough to reduce the countrys more than 1.4 billion pounds of cheese surplus thats currently sitting in cold storage.
