On Thursday morning, a huge package of almost one million methamphetamine pills was found among crates of longan abandoned on a roadside in Ang Thong's Chaiyo district.
The drug shipment was spotted by farmers who were fertilising their rice fields, about 15 meters away from the Asia Highway. The drugs were found inside several small plastic bags, wrapped in large packs.
