The researchers wanted to uncover how people learn color-taste associations, and whether people could be taught new color-taste associations. They reported their findings online in Food Quality and Preference, and it will be published in the January print edition. Also, the researchers wanted to determine why people enjoy the bitter taste in some foods, such as coffee or chocolate, but not others.
