This entailed an increase of 32%. 28% of that volume corresponded to oranges, which took second place behind mandarins (30%). Yet the orange season has been described as difficult. Frosts took a toll on the fruit on the trees, but nevertheless, the yield was greater than previously expected. Some 99,800 tons were exported, which is more than in the previous season.
