How sustainable are fish sticks?

A recent study by the Marine Conversation Society found that 85 percent of 48 retail brands of fish sticks in the United Kingdom are made from seafood that's considered sustainable. The study ranked brands that revealed the origins of the fish used in their fish fingers, as they refer to them in the U.K. Processed fish products aren't required to reveal that information, so not all brands sold in the U.K. were included in the study.
