Malaysias palm oil stockpiles at the end of August rose 12.4 percent from the previous month to 2.49 million tonnes, industry regulator the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) said on Wednesday. Production in August rose 7.9 percent from the previous month to 1.62 million tonnes, while exports fell 8.1 percent from July to 1.10 million tonnes, according to the MPOB data.
