New York state to invest $1.5 million in 'Farm-To-School' lunch programs

State officials announced the funding on Thursday.

Usnews.com quoted NY governor Andrew Cuomo as saying the program will benefit students by providing them with fresh fruits, vegetables and other products while also helping create markets for the state's farmers.
