Spain: 10% drop in Murcia's frozen vegetable exports

Until last year, when looking at Murcia's fruit and vegetable exports as a whole, frozen vegetables had been recording the sharpest increases. As a result of this, Murcia has become Spain's second largest producing region, second only to Navarre. However, the change of suppliers of British retail chains, as well as the lower demand from Germany and the Netherlands, has caused sales abroad to fall by 9.8% during the first seven months of the year after a decade of spectacular expansion.
