Russia: Over 200 tonnes of produce returned to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in two weeks

Over the last two weeks, 155.5 tonnes of Kazakhstani and 55.2 tonnes of Kyrgyz products have been detained by inspectors of the Rosselkhoznadzor department in the Novosibirsk region at the phytosanitary control post Karasuk. The shipments consisted of onions, carrots, plums, grapes, pears, apples, cucumbers, hot peppers and other products from the republics of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan which were intended for sale in Novosibirsk, Novokuznetsk and Khabarovsk, reported the press service.
