Tesco has found a way to cut back on food waste, an initiative gaining steam in the produce industry. To do it, they have taken their wonky berries which aren't pretty enough for shelves and made a new frozen product with them.
We're passionate about good fresh fruit and we're committed to make sure that no good food goes to waste. We reviewed our operations in producing frozen fruit products and found that there was some fruit that was getting wasted in the process.
