Naturally Wholesome Products LLC is voluntarily recalling gallon and pint containers of Half Half with the brand name Wholesome Country Creamery because it has Alkaline Phosphatase. That enzyme is present in unpasteurized, or raw, milk. Finding the enzyme means that pasteurization failed. No illnesses have been reported in association with this problem.
The gallon and pint containers of the half and half have batch codes 4052917 or 2060517. The distribution of the product was limited.
