BrightFarms Salads Recalled for Metal Materials

The (FDA) has announced that multiple BrightFarms salad products have been recalled due to the possible presence of metal construction materials. This contamination arose due to construction at the Elkwood, Virginia (Culpeper County) greenhouse farm where the salad greens were grown.

The BrightFarms branded salads were distributed to and sold at Giant Food stores (Giant Landover, Giant Carlisle, Peapod, and Martins Food Markets) in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C., a
