Veal Imported From Netherlands Recalled for Possible E. coli O103

The USDA-FSIS is issuing a public health alert because about 424 pounds of raw veal products imported from the Netherlands may be contaminated with E. coli O103. This non-O157 Shiga toxin-producing bacteria can cause serious illness and death. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of these products.
