CFIA Issues Recall of London Dry Gin for High Alcohol Content

he Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) has initiated a recall of Bombay Sapphire-brand London Dry Gin following a food safety inspection of the product. According to the Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), this product should be removed from store shelves due to its excessively high alcohol content.

The recall arose from an error during production in which one batch of the gin was bottled before it was diluted to its proper 40% alcohol content by volume. This batch thus has a 77% alcohol c
