Wegmans Food Markets, Inc., has released a peanut allergen alert for its Wegmans Original Killer Brownies with Pecans product. This recall was triggered after a Wegmans employee noticed that cases of the brownies received from the manufacturer, Killer Brownie Distributing, Ltd. (Dayton, Ohio), were erroneously labelled as Original Brownies with Pecans. The cases actually contained Peanut Butter Brownies that contain peanut allergens.
