H&B Packing Recalls Beef for Possible E. coli O103

on date 03/06/17. These products have the establishment number EST. M13054 inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to food manufacturers in Texas.

The problem was discovered when FSIS was notified by the state of Texas Meat Safety Assurance Unit about a positive non-O157 Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) sample. Since clinical labs do not test for this strain, if you do feel sick after eating one of these products, see your doctor and tell her about this recall.
