Egypt: Oranges were the only fruit to record price increases last week

Research carried out by the Research Unit of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce confirmed that fruit and vegetable prices in Egypt recorded a slight decrease last week.

The Unit confirmed that the price of a kilo of tomatoes fell from five pounds* per kilo to 2.5 pounds per kilo, while that of green peppers fell to 5 pounds per kilo, after having reached 7 pounds.
