FDA Warns Consumers about Canadian Baby Food Recall

The FDA is warning consumers not to use PC Organics brand baby food that was manufactured specifically for the Canadian marketplace. Some U.S. consumers may have purchased these products in Canada. The baby food has been recalled for possible Clostridium botulinum contamination.

Loblaw Companies is recalling PC Organics baby food pouches. A manufacturing error resulted in excess water in the product, which could support the growth of Clostridium botulinum. That bacteria produces a toxin that is
