Professor calls for fruit & vegetable standards in Ghana

Professor Ayum Teye is calling on Ghana to set higher standards for fruits and vegetables in order to allow for more exports and decrease the necessity for imports.

He expressed worry that locally produced fruits and vegetables such as mangoes, bananas and oranges could not be sold in supermarkets in Ghana because of the lack of certification.
