Lunds and Byerlys stores in Minnesota are recalling Fresh-Cut Cored Pineapple for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. No illnesses have been reported to date, but the illness caused by this bacteria can take up to 70 days to appear.
The recalled product is Our Produce Fresh-Cut Cored Pineapple. The supplier of the fruit issued a recall. The fruit has an expiration date of January 20, 2017 or earlier.
