Smoked Salmon in Canada Recalled for Possible Botulism

Loblaw Companies in Canada is recalling Presidents Choice brand Smoked Atlantic Salmon sold at one location in Mississauga because it may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum bacteria. This bacteria produces a dangerous toxin that can be fatal. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue.

The recalled products were sold from Valu-mart Applewood at 1125 Bloor Street East in Mississauga, Ontario. They are Presidents Choice brand. Smoked Atlantic Salmon in 112 gram
