Russia prevented entry of over 67 tonnes of Chinese fresh produce

More than 67 tonnes of fruit and vegetables from China were refused entry in the Russian province of Primorye. The reason: the gross violations of the phytosanitary requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union, as reported by the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor in the Primorsky Territory and the Sakhalin region.

Experts inspected three batches of fruits and vegetables, as a result of which it became clear that the certificates provided with the products were invalid. The product names in the cert
