Philippines to boost food exports to the EU

the second biggest global food show after Germanys Anuga. In 2014, SIAL Paris housed 6,500 exhibitors from 104 countries, and welcomed 155,766 visitors from 194, said CITEM Executive Director Rosvi C. Gaetos.

The Philippines gained the EU-GSP+ beneficiary status in December 2014, giving duty-free access to the EU market for 6,274 Filipino product items. Before, only 2,442 of Philippine products are eligible for zero duty and 3,767 for reduced tariffs.
