Ashers Chocolates/Lewistown Inc. is recalling 41 different chocolate and snack products from retailers nationwide after routine testing by the company returned positive results for Salmonella.
In our 124 years of business, we have never previously detected Salmonella in our testing. We are working and cooperating fully with the U. S. Food Drug Administration on this voluntary recall, President and CEO Jeff Asher said in the recall notice. We apologize to our retail customers and consumers and
