A deal has been signed between Taiwans Council of Agriculture and Japan's city of Gotemba, which aims to strengthen ties between the two sides, namely with a cooperation on the citys school lunch program. Taiwan's Council of Agriculture will provide Gotembas six elementary schools and four junior high schools with Taiwanese bananas at lunch on or around the 11th day of each month.
