Food Recall Roundup for the Week Ending June 12, 2016

There are still many recalls of sunflower seed products for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination this week. An outbreak has been announced, although in a very low key way on the FDA web site. On June 3, 2016, a recall notice for First Source sunflower seed products stated, currently, there are two possible illnesses being investigated in connection with this recall. The CDC has not reported on this possible outbreak.
