“With prices like these, many asparagus growers will end the season earlier”

Demand on the asparagus market is currently calm, and prices are under pressure. This is also caused by the flooding in Limburg last week. Certain plots could not be harvested because of it, and that accumulated volume is now entering the market, salesman Jan Muurmans of Teboza says. I expect many growers will stop because of low prices.
