Fonterra gets tanked up: Firm invests $45m in new tankers

The New Zealand-based dairy exporter is replacing 67 of its existing fleet and investing in an additional 23 brand new tankers.

According to Fonterra director of New Zealand operations Brent Taylor, Morrinsville Fleet Service has almost completed building the 90 new tankers for the firm.

The tankers will be used to collect milk from farms throughout the country.

The team has been non-stop, completing an average of one tanker a day. This year we have been replacing 67 of our existing fleet and
