to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The initial recall was expanded after FDA found unsanitary conditions at the cantaloupe packing shed. The Caribbean Gold cantaloupes were shipped between July 15th and July 27th and distributed in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia. Hannaford, Reid and Food Lion supermarkets carried the recalled Caribbean Gold cantaloupes.
