Belgian supermarkets recall minneolas

FASFC reports that the Belgian supermarkets Colruyt CollectGo, OKay and Albert Heijn have recalled minneolas this week. During an inspection of minneolas, the supplier found that they contained too much Carbaryl. Carbaryl is a crop protection agent that is used against insects. The exceeded toxic amount is on the skin of the minneolas.

At Colruyt, CollectGo and OKay, the minneolas were packaged in 1.5 kilogramme nets. At Albert Heijn, they were sold at the fresh produce department unpackaged. A
