Solon, OH Kanan Enterprises announces the voluntary recall of natural in shell pistachios due to potential contamination with salmonella. Our third party supplier who makes this product has asked us to issue this recall because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
