90 jobs under threat at Coca-Cola’s Northern Irish manufacturing site

The company employs 623 people at the site, which was opened at a cost of 93.5M in September 2010 and has the capacity to produce and bottle 1.5Ml of Coca-Cola beverages every day for customers across Ireland.

A spokeswoman said the proposed job cuts were part of a restructuring that was intended to reduce the cost-base and produce efficiencies at the plant, and employees have entered a 30-day consultation period.
