Australia announces tough tough food labeling system

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott has announced a mandatory country-of-origin labelling system for food, to come into effect from next year.

The move is said to have been prompted by the hepatitis outbreak earlier in the year, attributed to contaminated Chinese berries.
