Following a request from the European Commission, the European Food Safety Authoritys (EFSA) Panel on Contaminants in the Food Chain (CONTAM Panel) has reconfirmed previous evaluations that acrylamide in food potentially increases the risk of developing cancer for consumers in all age groups.
