Nestlé reaffirms commitment to Vietnam coffee

The Swiss food giant has reaffirmed its commitment to support more than 20,000 coffee farmer households in Vietnam. It said it will source 30,000 tonnes of coffee from around 16,000 Vietnamese farmers each year.

The push aims to drive improved productivity through assistance in farming and distribution.

Building of a new US$270m coffee factory in the Dong Nai province is also set to commence in November and should be completed in 2013.
