Heinz opens $70m infant cereal production plant in China

HJ Heinz has opened its new $70m infant cereal production plant in Foshan City, Guangdong Province, China, a move that will create 200 new jobs.

The new plant, which is the company's largest infant cereal production plant across the globe, features drum dryers, powder handling systems and packaging machinery from Andrtiz Gouda, GEA Group, and Bosch.

The advanced technologies and equipment used at the plant will improve production speed, while ensuring stringent quality controls.
