Maelor Poultry is expected to invest 10m in the site of a former cheese packing factory, First Milk, near Wrexham in the UK.
As reported in the Daily post, the chicken processing company Maelor Poultry that bought the site is expected to create 150 direct jobs via local supply chain if the deal to develop an advanced food processing plant falls through.
Maelor Poultry is working with Wrexham Council for the former First Milk site that shut down in March, leaving 200 employees jobless.
