Diageo has announced plans to expand its production capacity by investing in a new bottling line at the Stitzel-Weller distillery in Louisville, Kentucky.
Expected to become operational later this year, the proposed line will bottle a range of American whiskeys and will be able to handle new whiskey offerings in future.
The whiskey to be bottled at the site will be the first of its type over the past 20 years as Stitzel-Weller distillery has been idle since 1992.
