South Korea's fisheries output grew 1.6 per cent in the first half of this year from a year earlier thanks to increased deep-water catches, government data showed Thursday.
Fisheries production amounted to 1.81 million tons in the January-June period, up from the previous year's 1.74 million tons, according to data from Statistics Korea.
