Dutch food company Vion is set to make a multi-million euro investment in its meat processing plants in Bavaria, Germany.
As part of its investment, the company will expand its operations at Waldkraiburg, Landshut and Vilshofen.
Of the total investment being made, around half of the investments will be used in the expansion of the slaughter- and cutting plant in Landshut, Bavaria.
Upon completion of the project in 2015, the Landshut plant will have processing capacity almost double to 21,000
