Just one month after Carrefour pulled out of its Indian operation, Auchan has followed suit.
Auchan and its Indian partner Max Hypermarkets signed a deal only two years ago which they hoped would create a joint venture that would allow Auchan to invest in India with full compliance to Indian law.
