The second case of African swine fever (ASF) detected in domestic pigs was reported in Lithuania on Wednesday.
According to the Food and Veterinary Service of Lithuania, the ASF virus was found in two pigs in a private farm in Utena district.
All necessary measures have been taken to prevent the virus from spreading, according to the service.
The monitoring and safety zones within a radius of 3 km and 10 km around the epicenter have been set, the agency said in a statement.
