U.S. Corn Remains at 75% Good to Excellent

6% good to excellent and soybeans slipped 2 point s to 73%.

Chicago corn and soybean futures have been trending lower as the majority of both crops are doing well and forecasts through mid-July indicate favorable temperatures for corn pollination.

USDA weekly crop progress data showed corn silking advanced to 15%, down from the 18% average. However, in key states Iowa was at 4%, Illinois at 28%, and Nebraska 8%. All of those were behind the averages.

For soybeans, blooming was 24% done, which
