Chia seeds, prickly pears, find new life as ancient superfoods

North America saw the majority of chia seed food and drink launches in 2013, with 47 per cent of launches in the US and 12 per cent in Canada, compared to 18 per cent in the Asia Pacific region and 11 per cent in Europe.
