Results of a new study has indicated that in the next five years the Chilean salmon industry will require more than 8,000 new workers in direct and indirect jobs.
The results of the Study of Labour Market Intelligence report were announced at a seminar organised by the Council Competency Salmon Aquaculture Industry (CEC), led by SalmonChile.
Within the next five years, the industry will need to reach 8,279 jobs in the regions of Los Lagos, Aysen and Magallanes. Of these, approximately 3,000 ar
