Vietnamese company to grow dragon fruit in Australia

Vietnams CT Group plans to grow up to 10,000 hectares with dragon fruit in the northern territory of Australia, the largest scale so far with the first crop starting this year, said the Vietnam Trade Office in the Pacific country.

Here in Vietnam, the CT Group has got lots of small farms and it makes the logistics a bit difficult, Northern Territory Minister for Primary Industry and Fisheries, Willem Westra van Holthe said following the signing of the joint-venture deal.
