US state of Ohio has announced plans to renovate the Lonz Winery property, which has halted its operations since 2000.
The move is said to form a part of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR)'s strategy to make capital improvements.
The state is seeking investments from private investors for the winery, which is located on Middle Bass Island.
Around $6m will be invested to make improvements at the winery site, in a move to create a facility that will invite a public-private partners
